Our mission is to enhance the safety of life by measuring earthquakes using smartphones, and we need your help to achieve it. By finding patterns in the data we collect, we aim to predict earthquakes and mitigate their effects.
To participate, simply install the app and activate tracking. If an earthquake occurs in your area, the app will send the data to our server anonymously, and we will label it with the corresponding earthquake event. Please note that the app is currently not running in the background and must be activated manually.
We are currently in a proof of concept phase and aim to match patterns with earthquakes. Our next step is to use AI to find patterns in advance for earthquake prediction.

In the app, you will find a section to define a circle of trusted contacts. This feature is not yet activated, but it allows you to select people who can see your location in the event of an earthquake.
All data collected is stored on the Microsoft Azure Cloud in West Europe and is processed anonymously to ensure privacy.
